I’m a graduate student at the University of Toronto and Vector Institute advised by Prof. Marzyeh Ghassemi. I am broadly interested in Machine Learning applications to healthcare specifically looking at them from the lens of causal inference. I was also recently selected as one of the 100 Leaders of Tomorrow to attend the GAP Summit 2019 at Broad institute of MIT and Harvard. Previously, I have worked on 4G/5G wireless communications. I graduated from NIT Rourkela, India in 2017 with an integrated bachelor’s and master’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. In 2018, I was fortunate to work with Prof. Neelesh Mehta at IISc Bangalore. Earlier, I’d visited Prof. Ashish Khisti at the University of Toronto in the summer of 2016 as a MITACS Globalink research intern, and Prof. Friedrich Fleischmann at the Bremen Institute of Applied Sciences in the summer of 2015 as a DAAD WISE research intern.
